Membership Rates

Membership is open to corporate members who meet the criteria for involvement in HIEC. Membership dues are $5,000 per annum.

Membership Criteria

The following are the types of organizations currently considered as candidates for membership in the association:

  • an insurer, incorporated or licensed under a Federal or Provincial statute;
  • an association, corporation or company which would qualify as an "association" under the Prepaid Hospital and Medical Services Act, R.S.O. 1980, Ch. 388;
  • a third party administrator;
  • a physicians' billing management organization;
  • a value-added network provided such network has at least one customer that qualifies for membership as per the prior criteria; or
  • any other entity as may be deemed suitable by the Members.
